Go, Caramels!

This morning, Eleanor told me she wanted to wear her “caramels dress.”  I had no clue what she was talking about, so I asked her for some clarifications.  Her response was, “You know, Goooooo Caramels!”  This was obviously a request to wear her Cardinals cheerleader dress.  (Very appropriate after their extra innings win last night!)

After telling this to my sister, she told me that she would be much more in to professional sports if the mascots were candy.

Dance Recitals!

Olivia and Aspen have their hip hop dance recitals this weekend. On Tuesday, I went to their dress rehearsals. We can’t take videos or pictures on the actual day, so here are the videos from the rehearsal -

Funny Girls

The girls recently got new bunk beds. Aspen told her teacher that they are called bunk beds because if you sit up too quickly, you bunk your head.

After I drop the girls off at school, I usually take Eleanor right to preschool. However, today she really wanted to go home and get an extra serving of her chocolate almond milk. When I said that we couldn’t go home, she sat quietly for a few minutes. Then, she told me, “Mommy, your hair doesn’t look beautiful. It looks crazy. You should go home and fix it. And then you can give me some chocolate milk!”

Crack Butt and Wake Me Up!

Some more Eleanorisms –

* I was in New Orleans this past week and Grandma M. came to stay with the girls. One day, Eleanor’s pants kept falling down and she finally told Grandma, “I got crack butt.”

* Every morning when Eleanor wakes up, rather than getting out of her bed, she yells, “WAKE ME UP! WAKE ME UP!” Then, when you go in there she asks, “Is it morning time yet?” Luckily it usually is morning :)

Birthday Logic

Someone is turning three soon! In order to prepare Eleanor for her birthday, I have been talking to her quite a bit about birthdays and how she is turning three in March. After talking about this, she has decided that she wants fireworks at her birthday party (hmmm). I guess we should prepare for an extravagant birthday party! Also, she has decided that the “Happy Birthday” song should now be sung, “Happy Birthday THREE you.” I like her logic :)

Also, here is a video of E singing the ABC song. She has become quite the singer, although she usually won’t let me record her songs.

Holiday Aprons

Grandma Martha made the girls holiday aprons! Here is E rocking out her turkey apron -

And, here are all three girls wearing their aprons. AE’s is a Christmas tree and O’s is a Santa.

Don’t you think she should open an Etsy shop??

Skiing Eleanor

Eleanor has now joined the other Malmberg girls as a skier! She had her first day of skiing on Nov. 26th and has been ready to go again each day. After her first run, she looked up at Jason and said, “I want to go again, Daddy!” Just like her sisters, Eleanor is a big fan! I took a lot of pictures and a video, so check them out!

First is the video of all the girls skiing. There are also a few shots of the sky and some trees… It was bright out!

Here is Eleanor, Aspen, and Jason heading up the ski lift -

Here is a very happy Eleanor (see that smile on her face?) and Jason coming down the slope -

Finally, we have Jason and his skiing girls -
